3.4: What's fair?
This activity encourages students to explore unfair situations and consider how they can be made fair.
Tasks
- Distribute student work from the previous activity.
- Ask students to explain why they think the situations they have drawn are unfair.
- Discuss what could be done to resolve the situation. First ask the individual student and then put the situation to the whole group.
- Ask students to consider whether being fair to one person is being unfair to another.
- Ask students to draw the appropriate fair resolution and label it.
- Staple drawings together to make a book. Follow each unfair situation with its fair resolution.
- This activity encourages students to explore unfair situations and consider how they can be made fair.
- All the ‘books’ made by collating students’ work can be revisited many times.
